                                    MALAYSIA ESCAPADE

GENTING HIGHLANDS (Pahang, Peninsular Malaysia)

Officially known as Resorts World Genting and a self-proclaimed City of Entertainment, Genting is Malaysia’s low-budget, family-friendly, sanitized attempt at Las Vegas. The primary draw is that Genting is the only place where you can gamble legally in Malaysia, but there’s also a theme park to keep the kids amused. The resort offers six hotels with 10,000 rooms, over 50 fun rides, 170 dining and shopping outlets, shows, business convention facilities and entertainment options. As a plus, being located up in the highlands means it’s cooler than the steamy lowlands.

HONKONG DISNEYLAND ESCAPADE

One place you should not missed when you go to HK is the HK Disneyland. It is located in Penny’s Bay,Lantau Island, HongKong. It was opened last Sept. 12,2005

The park consists of four themed lands similar to other Disneyland parks: Main Street, U.S.A., Fantasyland, Adventureland and Tomorrowland

Main Street, U.S.A.

Hong Kong Disneyland’s Main Street, U.S.A. has a living day Disney on Parade and an exciting firework Disney in the Stars at night.

 Adventureland

Hong Kong Disneyland’s Adventureland is the biggest among all Disney parks and features a large island area home to Tarzan’s Treehouse, which is circled by the Jungle Cruise, much like the Rivers of America in most Magic Kingdom–style parks’ Frontierland area. It is also home to the “Festival of the Lion King” show.

Fantasyland

Hong Kong Disneyland features Sleeping Beauty Castle, as well as the Fantasy Gardens where costumed Disney characters can be met.

 Tomorrowland

The newest Tomorrowland opened on September 12, 2005, at Hong Kong Disneyland. Like the newer generations of the American Tomorrowlands, Hong Kong’s version features an emphasis on metallic trim, with lots of blue and purple hues. Since the opening of the park, some unique attractions have been added into the Hong Kong’s Tomorrowland, such as a newer version of Autopia, UFO Zone and Stitch Encounter.

I also love the HK Disney on Parade . This is a day-time parade which features 9 floats with famous Disney characters including Mickey and Friends, Chip ‘n’ Dale, Disney Princesses, Alice, Buzz Lightyear, Woody and Jessie.

There so much more to explore in this place. I definitely be coming back soon…

Macau (traditional Chinese: 澳門) , also spelled Macao (pronounced /məˈkaʊ/) is, along with Hong Kong, one of the two special administrative regions of the People’s Republic of China. It lies on the western side of the Pearl River Delta, bordering Guangdong province to the north and facing the South China Sea to the east and south.[6]

The territory’s economy is heavily dependent on gambling and tourism but also includes manufacturing.

Macau was a Portuguese colony and both the first and last European colony in China.[7][8] Portuguese traders first settled in Macau in the 16th century and subsequently administered the region until the handover on 20 December 1999. The Sino-Portuguese Joint Declaration and the Basic Law of Macau stipulate that Macau operates with a high degree of autonomy until at least 2049, fifty years after the transfer.[9]
